The name of the department as listed on an extract listing property held, etc. This is already a translated version, by the way. What would this department be called in German? (or in English, for that matter?) The closest I can come is "Amt für Immobiliensregistrierung" and it doesn't seem quite right. Is it possibly "Katasteramt" or is that something different?

Wenn das eine öffentliche Stelle (ein Amt) ist, dann sind zumindest in Deutschland die obigen, annähernd äquivalenten Begriffe gebräuchlich. Ich weiß allerdings nicht, ob die Übersetzung für ein deutsches oder österreichisches/schweizerisches Zielpublikum gedacht ist. In letzterem Fall wären ggf. andere Begriffe zu verwenden.

Comment: "Danke, ich weiß auch nicht, ob das Zielpublikum in Deutschland ist, aber Grundbuchamt hört sich gut an. Übrigens, Leo gibt dafür "land registry", für Liegenschaftsamt "real estate office", beide etwas handlicher als der engl. Begriff in meinem Text."
