more info needed It really depends on the subject area and what they actually did. While I'm not entirely sure what "спецпрактикум" involves at a Russian university, I did complete a science degree at a Canadian university. In addition to what Vanda and Vladyslav wrote, here are more possibilities:

Practicum: Often used for medical nurses, teachers, and doctors getting work experience.
Residency, fellowship, clinical experience: Mostly for qualified physicians getting experience while working under supervision of more experienced staff.
Internship: A job for a student who is finished, or nearly finished, their studies at university/college. It's a type of employment. It may or may not be paid. The purpose of an internship is to provide work experience at a particular company or government institution.

Laboratory (lab) courses: Usually taken by students in the sciences (math, computer, biology, chemistry, etc.) in addition to lectures. Lab courses consist learning practical skills, conducting experiments, etc.

Definitely don't use "workshop", though. Workshops are usually brief, 1-2 days duration, like seminars. You won't find them on academic transcripts or diplomas.
