English to Italian Tech/Engineering IT (Information Technology) instrumentation panel

Looks like a basic thing but I would ask an opinion from a native speaker on this:

It´s a user´s manual explaining how to use an instrumentation panel software for laser measuring devices and how to configure and/or visualize data coming from the sensor heads:

"one of the most invaluable tools is the plot view. using this plot view, operators may visually monitor a variety of integer (real) data that is collected from any device. (...) a standard plot view looks similar to the one in the figure below (graphic - x and y axis) - the x-axis scaling can be represented in distance or time in a number of different formats.

Would plot in this case be just "grafico"?
