This is the name of a course in a high school accounting vocational program.
Other EN>ES KudoZ entries give "off-cycle transactions" but I'm not sure it's that.
As far as I can tell, in Mexico at least "operaciones especiales" encompasses various concepts, as shown by this coursebook "Registra operaciones especiales" (contents on p. 5):

The three main areas are: "Cuentas de orden y documentos descontados y endosados", "Mercancías en comisión y mercancías en consignación", "Registro de operaciones en moneda extranjera".
Is there any term in English for this, or will I just have to use "special transactions" (which sounds kind of shady to me!) or something similar?
