Verificación de Servicios Directos e Intervención de la Acometida: Durante la operación se retiran los sellos, se desconecta la carga del predio conectada al medidor y se verifica en todo el inmueble que no exista tensión en ninguna parte. Para los predios con cuentas de grandes clientes, antes de efectuar la apertura del interruptor general, se miden las corrientes a la entrada de la acometida y se comparan con las registradas a la entrada del medidor (los valores deben ser los mismos), así mismo revisa que la acometida no esté intervenida, perforada o derivada halándola por lo menos una distancia de 50 cm.

The usual terms in English are "drop line" and "(electric) service drop".

: "connection" is far too general here. And your interpretation of "Intervención de la Acometida" is wrong. It refers to the (illegal) drawing of power from the drop line, between the distribution network and consumer's meter.
