count verification on demand

What's being verified is a count, i.e., the number of votes for each candidate - not merely that a vote has been counted, that an entry has been scanned, or that an account is in good order.

On demand is a necessary part of the expression because it means that a count can be done anytime during the voting.

disagree philgoddard : No, "compte" doesn't mean "count" in the sense of number of votes cast.

Verification of having been counted

That the voter has some means to ensure that their vote has been counted.

Technologically speaking, it would be impossible to guarantee a secret vote without some incredibly convincing governance mechanism.

It's one thing to steal an election. Another altogether to use the election to make enemy lists. Voting mechanisms must be surefire safe against stuff like that.

Anyways ... I think "verification of having been counted" ,on the part of the voter who might suspect that their vote wasn't counted, is the entry on the benefits side being mentioned.

could add "On demand" at the beginning, or keep it at the end (either in parentheses or not)
Peer comment(s):

agree philgoddard : This is the idea. "Prise en compte" means recorded.
