Medical (general)
I have difficulty understanding this. Any suggestions are welcome!
Context:
The adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH) plays a comparatively minor role in the secretion of mineralocorticoids, such as aldosterone, which is regulated mainly by the renin-hypertension system and the blood electrolytes, whose homeostasis is in turn influenced by them.

I think it's an error (they've pushed two terms together)
The correct term is the 'renin-angiotensin system' (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renin–angiotensin_system), which controls things like blood pressure and can thus affect hypertension, which is high blood pressure.
I hope this helps!
