ONCOLOGIC FINDINGS:
Numerous bilateral pulmonary nodules are seen, some of which are new and others are stable to increased in size. For example, a left upper lobe nodule measures 6 mm (7-43), compared to 4 mm previously ( 2-38). A juxtafissural nodule in the medial right middle lobe measures 10 mm (7-73), compared to 8 mm previously (2-66). The larger nodules demonstrate FDG uptake.

agree Evgeni Kushch : думаю что так; не стоит злоупотреблять "юкста", есть некоторые латинизированные термины устоявшиеся, но это не тот случай: юкстафиссуральный будет перебором

Lung Nodules

While the majority (at least 60%) of lung nodules are due to benign (not cancerous) conditions, it is important to work with your doctor to determine the cause. When lung cancer is caught early and is still small, there is a greater chance that it can be cured.

Definition of Lung Nodules

A lung nodule is defined as a “spot” on the lung that is 3 cm (about 1 ½ inches) in diameter or less. If an abnormality is seen on an x-ray of the lungs that is larger than 3 cm, it is considered a “lung mass” instead of a nodule, and is more likely to be cancerous. Lung nodules usually need to be at least 1 cm in size before they can be seen on a chest x-ray.
