Einzelzuweisung

Hello,
in a software, a grid is shown and by clicking on "Einzelzuweisung" you can select one single square of this pattern (and at the same time this square will be filled with colour or it will be cleared (i.e. no colour). In comparison, you can click on "Flächenauswahl" and then select a rectangular area and by clicking on "Fläche füllen" you can fill this area with colour and by clicking on "Fläche leeren" you can clear the selected area. Filling squares/areas with colour means that they will be used for, for example, the measuring range of ambient light control.
At the moment, I translated "Flächenauswahl" as "Select area", "Fläche füllen" as "Fill area" and "Fläche leeren" as "Clear area". However, I can't think of a proper translation for "Einzelzuweisung". Does anyone of you have a good idea? Moreover, if you have any other ideas for the other three buttons, please let me know.
Thank you in advance! :)
Kind regards
Beate

: Agree. You could also use "clear/fill individual cell" to emphasize the one-by-one ("Einzel-") nature of the action... or "indiv. cell" if space is at a premium.

: No need for "individuality" here as I see it, since "area" and "cell" are the counterparts.

Discussion
thanks for your help. "Clear/fill cell" seems to be an appropriate solution - especially, when comparing the other buttons to "Clear area" and "Fill area". Moreover, they have the same function and by using this solution, the localisation is more consistent. Thanks a lot! :)
However, from the information we have so far "single allocation" and "single assignment" don't cut the mustard for me at all. It sounds as though what is being described is "Clear/fill single square", so could you use that? - or even just "single square"? "Cell" might be an alternative to "square", too - depending on what terms are used elsewhere in the software. How about "Clear/fill cell"?
From your description I think I have the general idea, but this sounds like the kind of thing you would have to see in action to find the right translation. Would that be possible?
