English term
open pilot warranty
English to Spanish
Bus/Financial
Insurance
Aviation Insurance
Dear All,
I am having difficulty finding an adequate translation for the above term.
Context:
Document is an insurance slip and under the Conditions for pilots, I have
"Open pilot warranty" as a heading and then a list of hours.
I understand that this means that coverage is provided for unnamed pilots, although conditions are set for a minimum of flight hours for such pilots.
Is there a term coined and accepted for Spanish?
Any help appreciated,
Myriam

garantía abierta del piloto
"Del piloto" o "para el piloto". En mi experiencia personal no conosco una frase relacionada especial o legal sobre seguros o garantias para pilotos aviadores. La frase simplemente puede ser como la mencioné.

What is an “open pilot warranty?”

An open pilot warranty is a clause in many aircraft insurance policies, which allows pilots with certain minimum qualifications to fly the aircraft on an occasional basis without being specifically endorsed on the policy as a Named Pilot.
