Discussion
I just checked the Septuagint Bible (in Greek), there is no mention of anything looking like "secretum" to me.
Then I went to the Master's work, the Vulgate, translated from Greek and Hebrew into Latin by Saint Jerome, and found this "secretum meum mihi" popping up in the middle of phrases, before and after, that seem to follow the Greek text.
The revised 20th century Vulgate also has "secretum meum mihi".
I wish I read Hebrew to be able to check.
Anyway, in your "French" context, I think it ought to be corrected into "secretum" as it definitely has to do with secrecy.
There is no link that I can see rightaway between various interpretations.
