Licenciate Degree in English Language, Teaching pathway
I'd be as literal as possible with names of degrees, but the type of degree (number of years, for example) should be made clear elsewhere.

GLOSSARY ENTRY (DERIVED FROM QUESTION BELOW)
Spanish term or phrase: licenciada y licenciatura en Idioma Inglés Opción Enseñanza
English translation: Bachelors Degree in the English Language, Teaching Major
However, IMO, I would not call it a Bachelor's, and there are many posts too in the glossary explaining why "licenciatura" (depending on country) means different things.
It is your choice to translate it however you wish.

This is but one of many entries for "Licenciate" and one I may add by a well-respected member of the ProZ community: http://www.proz.com/kudoz/spanish_to_english/education_pedag...

: Agree with you, Taña. The terms "major, minor", "mención, itinerario, especialización" are another headache too. I have used "path", but it could be any other general term.
