: J'approuve mais je crois que les guides Verts Michelin utilisent une autre locution je ne m'en souviens pas. D'ailleurs le mot "laternatif" est encore critiqué par les puristes en style français ils préfèrent "de replacement"

: In EN (GB), that would be a 'side road', not 'route' / Well, regardless of where it is, there's no special reason to suspect the EN; but it is obvious from the context that it is referring to a site-seeing detour and not just an interesting side road.
