Discussion

Kate Collyer Aug 2, 2012:
No Not on an intranet!

Look at the other items on the list: online industry-specific journals; analyses/features/editorials; newsflashes/news feed; (online) newsletters.

To my mind, the "points d'infos" give you the whole article rather than just the headline, but without being an editorial.
Kévin Bernier Aug 2, 2012:
Doesn't "points d'infos" refer to newspaper outlets? As in shops or signs you can buy newspapers at, literally?

It seems a little redundant to talk about both newsflashes and news recaps in the same thing...

agree Wolf Draeger : Perhaps "Press summary" or "News summary"?

neutral Catharine Cellier-Smart : doesn't sound very English, and IMO newsflashes are covered by "les flashs info"

I have often heard this said by newscasters on American TV.

News recap(s)

Provided this is actually referring to a summarizing of today's news on a radio or on tv and what not.

If this is referring to a newspaper sign, my suggestion would be "newspaper outlet".

"News recap" is an extremely common term, it is used in pretty much every form of media on a regular basis. A simple Google search of the term will show you this.
