Discussion
Explicatia era intr-un paragraf de mai sus, evident a trebuit sa citesc tot textul ca sa vad asta - mulțumesc :) - si intr-adevar "the two-by-four- se refera la o bucata de lemn (nu cred ca de aceasta dimensiune, pur si simplu o bucata de scandura).
Daca aveai nevoie de sugestii pentru a traduce textul si nu doar pentru intelegerea sa, eu as merge pe " i-a povestit întâmplarea cu (bucata de) scândura..." sau simplu "i-a povestit despre bucata de scândură" ...
