More context is vital here!
For a start, 'bobine d'arrêt' only translates one aprticualr type of 'choke', it doesn't sound like it would be that type here.
Also, we need to know from your wider context if it is in fact the 'choke' that is 'common' — or the 'ground'? The EN word order is ambiguous on that point, you must have other clues available that would resolve the ambiguity.

1) A choke in the common ground connection (that's what I've attempted to translate in my suggestion below)
2) A choke common to more than one ground connection
3) Or of course, it might just be a 'ground choke' of a 'common' type — though I think this usage of 'common' is less likely, at least, assuming this is otherwise good-quality, native-speaker EN.
