No Brasil, as universidades possuem pró-reitores, que são responsáveis por uma determinada área, que ficam imediatamente abaixo do reitor, como pró-reitor financeiro, pró-reitor de pesquisa e pós-graduação, etc. Na ausência do reitor, geralmente responde o pró-reitor de graduação. O equivalente a "education" seria "graduação". Daí, encaixa-se perfeitamente para "vice dean". E, devido à formalidade do texto, "membro do corpo docente" se encaixa perfeitamente para "professor".

Mary Wallace Stanton

MARY WALLACE STANTON, a Baltimore native, bequeathed two professorships in Johns Hopkins' School of Medicine to help ensure the excellence of medical education. Mrs. Stanton was active in civic affairs in the city, as well as in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church. She died in 1983 at the age of 95. Her husband, Robert F. Stanton, served as Associate Judge on the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City from 1916 to 1938, then as Baltimore City Police Commissioner from 1938 to 1942.
