@ All Eventually used high-power equipment.
Thanks to all.
chris collister Oct 16, 2011:
OK, a complete assessment of observations and the perturbing effects due to power-consuming accessories, etc., or some such.
Anything related to electronics and processors in particular is a nightmare, with ludicrous prices charged for 10-year old technology. Even my shower has a 1980's chip in it, probably bought as obsolete stock for 1/100 of a penny.
Bashiqa (asker) Oct 16, 2011:
@CC Hi Chris. This is an assessment of the 'problems' caused when switching on different bits of equipment in the car. 'Pertubations' can be 'spikes' in the voltage or other electrical interference. This is all connected with the onboard processors in ever increasing complex vehicles. No longer able to use an irish screwdriver to mend the thing.
chris collister Oct 16, 2011:
Longer than "consommateurs", but "power-consuming accessories" covers all the bases. But what are the "perturbations"? Presumably they fit with "bilan"?
Bashiqa (asker) Oct 16, 2011:
@CC The furry dice might have flashing lights in them!!
Perhaps I'll stick with equipment, or better idea go back to bed.
chris collister Oct 16, 2011:
Well, furry dice and go-faster stripes are accessories, but not necessarily consumers of power....
Bashiqa (asker) Oct 15, 2011:
@CC But aren't accessories power consumers?
Here are a few more.
Combinaisons de consommateurs à activer en même temps:
Consommateurs permanents
Consommateurs transitoires (activation/désactivation)
chris collister Oct 15, 2011:
My money would be on consumers of power (vide Ronald) but it rather depends what the rest of the text is on about. What are the "perturbations, for example? If it is clear that this is what they mean, then "power hungry" (though FR does have "énergievore" for that) or "power-consuming tems" might work.

accessories

I believe these are the consumers of power in the car, i.e. the accessories.
Note from asker:
I have already pencilled in 'equipment' but accessories sounds better. i'll be good and wait 24hours before awarding unless there is a better idea. Thanks, Chris.
