Es un informe y presupuesto sobre la remodelación de una casa.

"Estos micropilotes quedarían zunchados superiormente por una jácena perimetral adosada a la cimentación existente y que a su vez constituiría el recalce de la misma".

No sé si la traducción que hice está bien, mi intento es:

"These micropiles are strengthen by a main beam engaged to the existing foundations and, at the same time, ---- it."

Busqué recalzo y es: Reparo que se hace en los cimientos de un edificio ya construido.

Encontré una traducción: underpinning, es esa la correcta?

Si bien Guillermo amablemente sugiere 'shoring', prefiero 'underpinning', pq el primero contempla "cargas verticales", mientras que 'zuncho' connota, además, "atado", oposición a "cargas horizontales" y otras.
