estoy traduciendo un informe de acreedores y me aparece este término.
el cliente me ha facilitado un glosario y me indica que "claim" es "crédito", pero yo habría traducido "file a claim" por "presentar una reclamación", ¿creeis que en este contexto se refiere a "crédito"? ¿Y qué tipo de crédito es entonces "deficiency claim"?

El contexto es el siguiente:
Secured creditors, who held a pledge over certain assets and have enforced the pledge under the agreement, were not required to file a claim against the estate to obtain ownership over the pledged assets. Instead, they may have, if considered applicable, filed potential deficiency claims net of the pledged collateral based on their own calculation.
