Chinese term

驗收

Chinese to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
Hello! Here, the person is responding to a question regarding the delivery of a product they purchased.

Sentence is: 如期交付驗收 (and that's all she wrote!)

I get the sense the person might mean the delivery was completed as scheduled, but the 驗收 is throwing me off a little. The definitions I found for it mean something like "check".

Thoughts? TIA!

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks to everyone for your insight and explanations! This was a hard one to grade because I received so many good answers. However, pkchan's is the closest to the term itself and the answer is in the correct verb tense! Thanks again to everyone!"

inspection and acceptance

"to deliver the goods as scheduled for inspection and acceptance." I guess the goods may be required for inspection by certain commercial inspection authority, such as SGS.
Note from asker:
Interesting. Thank you both!

agree Rita Pang : Inspected/checked, and (said deliverable) accepted. "如期交付驗收" - (the product/service etc) was inspected, received and paid for on time/as scheduled.

That the product was inspected, received and paid for as scheduled

By the way, I'd like to offer one more suggestion to the answer. Marco has given a great answer and my feedback to his response was in the past tense (i.e. customer's response to sample question could be: I was satisfied because the said product was inspected/received/paid for as per scheduled).

Depending on the context, the phrase 如期交付驗收 can also be in the subjunctive form - i.e. sample question could be, what would you expect from this supplier? customer's response: 如期交付驗收 = that XXX delivers, inspect and pay (交付 could be simply handling over, but could be payment as well?) as per schedule.

just a thought.

all goods received in good order

如期交付驗收 - delivery was completed as on schedule and the goods were received in good order

Acknowledging (acknowledgement of) receipt of things (usually merchandise) in good order.

收 is the main word here. While it literally means "receive," the word functions as a message and acknowledgement to the parties primarily concerned with the delivery.
