Japanese term
ワン欠け
Japanese to English
Other
General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
I found the following definition:
四人の内の一人が抜ける状態。
What is a concise way of putting this in English? This is from a lesson plan, and my sentence says, "わんかけをおこない..." and then tells you to have the one left out find what the other three have hidden.

Since it is a type of learning game but it is unclear as to whether it is a group of 3 or 4 because of the teacher situation, perhaps one can say that one student is separated/extracted/removed from the group...
(ワン欠け= literally one omitted/missing).
