Reports to:
I would say "reports to" for the first heading and "supervises" for the second heading.

reporting to
Although the word "supraordination" exists, I think here it would be more appropriate simply to say "reporting to" - the person changing job would appear to be second only to the Managing Director (CEO) with 20 people "under him/her"

Sol
: yes, it could work, if it was by itself, but in this case we would have to translate "subordinación" to something similar... and I can't think of anything.

Sol
: this would only work in the case that this person reports to top management directly. See my option.

reporting instance / reporting to
this position reports to the General Manager, i.e. supraordenacion means
"first in line of hierarchy". On the other hand he has lots of persons reporting to him in various departments, as explained under "subordinacion". Hope this helps.

Sol
: I believe it means "previous in hierarchy", not just "first". This same format is probably used for all positions, or at least, all management positions.

certainly not "previous". What you mean is HIGHER UP in the hierarchy is another acceptable way of putting it

: the ad is quite clear: the job reports to the Director General and not just anybody in a higher hierarchy
