«Reconnaissance de la personne» vient immédiatement à l'esprit, mais j'ai le sentiment que ça n'a aucun sens dans le contexte. Qu'en pendez-vous? Voici le contexte:

Je pense que c'est ce sens-là que prend "acknowledgement" quand il s'agit de communication non-verbale.
