thanks. will check them out.

Look forward to the museum stuff Ellen! btw I haven't had time to nose into it, and you have probably already done so, but I imagine there must be some terminology on English Heritage pages and wherever there is official info on listed buildings...
ellengreen (asker) May 18, 2010:
Yes, it is tempting to use "patrimonialisation" and it does seem that this concept is growing in use in English. However, I prefer "accepted as heritage" although they do speak about "procesos de patrimonializació" in all areas of heriatge. It seems to be a significant line of research here and therfore must be so in English speaking countries. the question is what exactly do they call it??
Muses Inc May 18, 2010:
I don't think heritage is actually produced -although made into a marketable items, and unmade by others (unluckily enough) by the 'desarrollismo' of certain regional governments in Spain...- something can be acknowledged as, accepted as or included to a list of heritage. Although not widely used, Google gives back 622 results for "the patrimonilization" ... I think any speaker of English will perfectly understand what is meant by that.

heritage production?
Noni Gilbert Riley May 18, 2010:
Thanks Ellen And Catalán is no problem!
ellengreen (asker) May 18, 2010:
Aquest estudi s’emmarca en un projecte més ampli dedicat a la patrimonialització de l’arqueologia
(Catalan, sorry!)
ellengreen (asker) May 18, 2010:
Yes, you're right. Will do. thanks.
Noni Gilbert Riley May 18, 2010:
PLEASE can we have your sentence I've started to chew this one over, and need to know... ;-)
Noni Gilbert Riley May 18, 2010:
Although the answer is going to be the same... You're really doing two posts in one, Ellen. For glossary purposes, you really ought to split them and put the Catalán in Cat-En...
