graduated discount schedule

This is about all I can think of - just guessing. It just means the more you buy the larger the discount gets: the price goes down 'en cascade'.

I think the difference is that volume discount implies one discount rate for a certain large volume whereas 'graduated' means that the discount rate increases progressively with each indicated increase of volume purchased, ie: cascading.
