It appears to mean fossilized gut contents. Yum.

From what I can gather "collolite" is a type of thin section glue/resin and is used for refractive index studies. It was used as an alternative to Canada Balsam resin. Collolite has an index of refraction of (n=1.533), Canada balsam is (n=1.54).
