Uit een vragenlijst over informatiebeveiliging in een bedrijf:

• Copy and printer rooms or areas: the spotter pays especially attention to:
Ø Are documents left on or around printers and/or copiers?
Ø Is a classification label present on the documents?
Ø Is the nature of the documents found confidential or private?
Ø If a shredder is present, does it function properly?

• Office space: only unlocked offices and unmanned desks are subject to the spotter’s inspection. She/he should concentrate on e.g.:
Ø If other employees are present in the office is she/he’s presence and activity challenged?
Ø If so use the technician excuse and continue inspection. Are you challenged again? Does the ‘challenger’ join and supervise your activity?
