English term
grouted cut-off
English to Spanish
Tech/Engineering
Energy / Power Generation
weir, powerplant
If shown to be necessary by the results of permeability testing during construction a grouted cut-off shall be established to a depth of at least 50% of the weir height, it shall extend at less across the full width of the weir and up the adjacent abutments to the top of the wing walls.
I think is a kind of isolation system but I've no idea of the name for "cut-off" in Spanish, I know "grouted" is "lechada"
Help, thanks

Tal vez "cut-offs" se refiere a "cut-off walls", que se puede traducir como "muros interceptores".
Este tipo de muros se utilizan para formar pantallas de impermeabilización.
