English term

with lustrous designs

English to French Other Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) Accessoires / Chats
You can also find common varieties that are made up of cardboard **with lustrous designs** for the cat to scratch on.

It could be that I am tired but I cannot find a good translation...
Thanks for your time and suggestions

Not quite sure exactly what they are meaning by 'lustrous' here, it would probably help for you to see an example of the actual type of product...

I can't see exactly why making the design 'lustrous' would in any way encourgae the cat to scratch that particular part instead of any other — I don't think cats are nearly so gullible as their owners!

You may also need to consider that this might be non-native EN, and that the meaning is in fact not accurate; for example, if the writer's EN was not perfect, they might just mean 'smooth' instead of 'rough'...
Note from asker:
I like the "I can't see exactly why part..." I do agree with you so it could be the reason why I can't find my way out... with your idea which is the exact same as mine the sentence doesn't really make sense Thanks Tony!!
