Due diligence meeting is the meeting promoted by the subscriber of a new public offer in which the brokers may ask questions to the representatives of the issuing company about its history and financial credibility, and the intended use for the moneys collected from the subscription. Brokers that recommend investment in new offers without a careful use of due diligence are liable to legal actions, later on, should the investment result in losses.
