How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Re "données payantes" As it's ambiguous I would say "pay site data / (in the case of) pay site data...". I realize this skirts the issue a little bit but I think it works, and unless you can get more specific clarification from the client I think it's faithful to the original.

Re Ghits for pay site vs paying site I don't think there's any point in comparing the number of Google hits for pay site vs paying site as they're two different animals. It's like asking whether red Ford or green Ford appears more often. Pay site refers to the fact that access to the site is free. Paying site refers to the fact that the site is (or is meant to be) a revenue generating site. YouTube is neither a pay site nor a paying site (generates no revenue, has no revenue model). Google.com is not a pay site but is a paying site with massive advertising revenues...

Re asker's clarification question "Les informations comptables d'abonnement" seems to be referring to 'subsriber's account details' being transferred to the ERP. I think this is still in line with a 'pay website' and is talking about how the data of people subscribing to the site is handled. (As opposed to how advertising revenue is handled - in which case it would be referring to advertiser data and not subscriber data.)

From usage I would say "paying website" rather than "pay website". Check on google.

disagree rkillings : Actually, "pay site" gets vastly more Ghits than "paying site". Maybe that's because *you* have to pay -- the site isn't paying you. :-) Besides, nobody says "paying TV", which is exactly analogous.

If it's being contrasted with a free site, then I'd say it's pay site.
(Whether it's a paying, ie, revenue generating site, has nothing to do with whether access to the site or only on paid subscription, so you'll need to judge from the wider context.)

Depends on the register, "subscription sites" being fairly formal, moving on to "pay sites" and then "sites where you have to pay".
