: Bicycle parking places is better. This is because the authorities when issuing a building permit often specify the number of bicycle parking places to be provided, not the number of areas. There might be two areas, but places for 24 bikes.

Laut Duden umfasst das Wort 'Zweirad' sowohl das klassische, mechanische, von Pedalen angetriebene Fahrrad als auch ein Gefaehrt auf zwei Raedern, das durch einen Motor angetrieben wird, also ein Mofa, ein Moped oder ein Motorrad. Deshalb deckt das Wort 'two-wheeler' den Begriff 'Zweirad' wahrscheinlich am exaktesten ab. Ob dieser Genauigkeitsgrad allerdings ueberhaupt im Vertrag intendiert ist, ist eine ganz andere Frage.
