Con la creación del Laboratorio de Diseño se ha generado un espacio de reflexión, un punto de encuentro entre distintas generaciones de diseñadores para pensar futuras necesidades, desarrollar nuevas ideas y plantear propuestas válidas. Una plataforma para analizar, debatir y conocer qué soluciones ofrecen los jóvenes diseñadores a los nuevos escenarios de la sociedad.
En esta primera edición, y ***para acotar las diferentes problemáticas***, el tema sobre el que se ha trabajado ha sido “El espacio habitable”. Como todos sabemos, la emancipación es un paso muy difícil para la juventud que vive en las grandes ciudades, y se encuentra un mercado inmobiliario con una oferta de viviendas de reducidas dimensiones y de altísimos precios por metro cuadrado. Esta situación obliga a buscar continuamente nuevas soluciones para el mejor aprovechamiento del espacio mediante un equipamiento que permita desarrollar distintas actividades sin perder calidad de vida.
