Swedish term

medbestämmnanderätt

Swedish to English Law/Patents Law (general) Will
""Den egendom . . . . . . . skall intill dess XX uppnått 18 års ålder stå under särskild förvaltning utan medbestämmanderätt för förmyndaren."

Är det XX eller förmyndaren som inte har medbestämmanderätt? Eller hur översätter man denna mening?

With. Definitely.

Extra-marital sex. With or without hyphen?

Jag tolkar meningen som att förmyndaren inte bör ha medbestämmanderätt.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Nice to get a second opinion. I'm chosing 'co-determination' as I like to write such words with a hyphen. Cheers."

right of codetermination

Term usual in Sweden re relations between employer and employees. Concerns participation between employer and trade union representatives (not individual employees) at place of employment. Decision is made by employer if agreement is reached, otherwise negotiation takes place at higher level.
Peer comment(s):

neutral USER0059 (X) : This could perhaps be misread as code-termination.

right to participate in decision-making

This is the translation in Edströms Ekonomi Ordbok. I am afraid that there is no more elegant term or phrase listed.
