Personnel Involvement
1. The systems shall be operated and maintained by the supplier. Day to day operation of these systems shall be under the control of the supplier. Exceptions to this guideline will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
2. As with any process that is not inherently safe, the long-term safe operation of these systems cannot be relegated to only documented procedures or visual observation. There must be appropriate industry standard controls and interlocks incorporated into the design of these systems to insure that the *initial design integrity* is maintained.
