The aim of this cross-sectional study was to estimate the prevalence of high-risk pregnancy in Irbid City. The study population consisted of 598 pregnant women. The sample was chosen from all attendant pregnant women over 28 gestational weeks at the following Maternal and child Health Centers: Al-Sareh, Al-bareha, Al-Rasheed, Irbid, Al-Shamali and Al-Hassien. The instrument used was a risk evaluation form dependent on arbitrary weights from zero to two for each variable in the form. Interviews were conducted for each subject using the risk evaluation from, and complementary information was taken from the record of each woman interviewed

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقدير معدل انتشار الحمل عالي الخطورة في مراكز الأمومة والطفولة في مدينة اربد، تكون مجتمع الدراسة من 598 امرأة حامل ممن هن في الأسبوع 28 أو اكثر، و يزرن مراكز رعاية الأمومة والطفولة في مدينة اربد (الصريح، البارحة، الرشيد، اربد، الشمالي والحسين). وقد أجريت المقابلات مع أفراد العينة باستخدام نموذج تقييم الخطورة والذي اعتمد على علامات تقديرية (صفر إلى اثنين) لكل عامل في النموذج. والمعلومات
