Incident :
Labor law describing what the law means by incident.
Thanks for your suggestions.

unintended event
Offered with trepidation, in light of the 8 'agrees' to 'uindesirable event' so far. Even so...
An 'undesirable event' can be anything that happens that you find unpleasant and wish hadn't happened: the thunderstorm on your daughter's birthday, the Supreme Court's ratification of the alleged election of GW Bush, whatever... but these are occurence that you had no hand in.
An 'unintended event', on the other hand, is one that is the result of some act by you-- a result which you probably did not foresee and wish had not occurred. It is the unintended consequence of your act, the unintended result of something you do, as in the French text above. The Michigan Tech Operating Procedures Manual, for example, defines "Incident" as follows: "Incident: Any unintended event that causes injury or property damage or has the potential for causing serious injury or property damage" http://www.admin.mtu.edu/admin/procman/ch18/ch18p7.htm

You could also say "unintended event" as well" as pointed out by rufinus. I've seen both used before, back to back (undesirable and unintended event). So, you can say both, if you like. No matter what, "undesirable" clearly implies "unintended" and vice versa.
This is what I'd say.
