Russian term

гон

Russian to English Art/Literary Slang
Я пока написала "this is bull", но сомневаюсь.

bull, bulls**t

Not only do they talk like that in the U.K., I believe the expression originated here, referring originally to the khaki-coloured cleaning substance used for soldiers' webbing equipment.

Don't give me that applesauce

Though I'm not sure if it's used in Britain.

Or just 'Don't give me that!'

Don't give me that! (informal). something that you say when you do not believe ... Don't give me that! I saw you with him, Karen - I drove right past you! ...

In fact, there can be anything put in the end - crap, BS, etc.
