That is the only precise translation I can come up with, it is one of those that appears to have only one plausible translation so anything else would be inaccurate.

So if "they" don't like it, suggest that they change the title in Spanish and from that you can come up with another translation into English "they" might like more.

Just a suggestion. I worked in agriculture for years, and we had numerous conferences or meetings, where we mainly presented our research to fellow researchers and scientists, and trade shows, which were more for the agricultural community. In trade shows, we presented our research as well, but in a more practical way that would be meaningful to the growers, and all of the local agriculture-related businesses had exhibits.

I just want to say that I agree with Henry, but would like to add another question: Was there any one part of the translation they didn't like? Personally, I've worked for Spanish companies that hates/misuse the word "manager" constantly. Is that the "conflictive" word in the translation?
