It's usual - at least, for cars - to see this specified as "XXX hp at XXXX rpm", can you combine the two items in this way? BTW, 1 hp is not exactly 1 CV: 1 CV = 736 Watts, 1 hp = 746 Watts.

Engine RPM
You will find it specified as such, not engine speed. How do you assess the speed of an engine?..just does not compute..

Maximum RPM would actually be better. Alex is right on that when he says XXX HP at XXX RPM. But this really refers to maximun revs the engine can withhold.
