eine Entscheidung 'aus dem Bauch heraus' zu treffen = etwas intuitiv, ohne die Ratio einzuschalten, zu entscheiden.
Das wäre wohl eher auf dem umgangssprachlichen Niveau von 'seat-of-the-pants'.
