English term
CE
English
Tech/Engineering
Computers (general)
Electrical Consumer Products
I'm having trouble finding the meaning or definition of this business term. The context is as follows:
•Non-CE business: With the products of this brand, you don’t need a manual to get started
•CE: The products of this brand are Plug’n Play, you don’t need a manual to get started
What does CE mean and what's the difference between CE and non CE businesses?
Thanks,
Mark

The abbreviation is widely used now, I meet it often when they speak of CE markets, etc. A profitable and fast-developing segment, indeed.

: I was posting an identical answer when yours popped up. Inclusion of the reference to a "manual" makes it pretty clear.
