Ésta es una mosca que causa agallas. Vea: http://www.invasive.org/browse/subimages.cfm?sub=4353
"...To control the spread of spotted knapweed, two types of *****gall flies***** have been released into areas with spotted knapweed... *****Gall flies****** lay their eggs on the flowerhead of the spotted knapweed. When the eggs hatch and become larvae, the larvae burrow into the flowerhead to feed on the plant...."
gracias

Note from asker:
????? I go to that page you cite and "mosca del olivo" corresponds to Bactrocera oleae! That's not at all the fly in question! |

Note from asker:
They are both gall flies. The common name gall flies is used to name all the species of genus Urophora, if I'm not mistaken. |
