English term
wrapping services around legacy applications
English to German
Tech/Engineering
Marketing
IT-Servicemanagement
Hallo,
And, there are additional challenges:
Modular applications are intrinsically more fragmented.
Collections of independent and loosely coupled services are harder to design, implement and manage.
Dealing with applications at multiple levels of abstraction is essential to ensure high-quality design of reusable components.
Testing of the service, application, systems becomes more critical.
Different skills sets are required, including experience in architecture and design and implementation using complex new standards, as well as knowledge of legacy systems.
Composing applications from existing services, *wrapping services around legacy applications* are all relatively new skills.
Danke!
