German term

eine volle Blase haben

Non-PRO German to English Medical Medical (general)
This is from a medical examination. Since it seems "Blase" can refer to umpteen things, I thought it best to ask a question. (As I felt it was of a more general nature, I placed it in the "non-pro" category.

Ein Patient, der friert, eine volle Blase hat und unbequem liegt wird sich nur ungern untersuchen lassen.

Thanks.

Marga, I was - and am - simply puzzled by the dates and wondered how this could be. Maybe someone has an explanation? It doesn't reflect on Kim's answer, which is perfectly correct and valid.
Marga Shaw Oct 31, 2017:
Franglish, No, I did not notice the date of the post. Many thanks for your pointing this out to me. However, I think once an answer is chosen the question should be closed or made inactive in order to prevent any other entries.
Thanks again and best wishes,
Marga

Marga, did you notice the date of the post, i.e. April 11th 2006, and the agree from Sabine Akabayov 4218 days later?
Marga Shaw Oct 29, 2017:
Strange ... I noticed that Siegfried Armbruster agreed to an answer provided by Kim Metzger (see below). I wonder how this is possible as Siegfried sadly passed away in June this year?
