I assume this is still open? I've just been looking for the same term, but have come across it in conjunction with Forderungsmanagement, which would tend to support Derek's suggestion.

I would translate "claims management" as "Forderungsmanagement". IMHO this is talking about supplemental services performed (or to be performed), but not contained in the main contract, i.e. construction ordered after the fact.

Something like... "Ooops, we forgot to have a bathroom built. Uh, how much would it cost to have that done while you guys are already at it. Oh, that much huh?" :-(

agree Victor Dewsbery : Your bathroom example is about the size of it. But it could also be extra waterproofing for the foundations, adding snazzy materials to the facade etc. "Nachtrag" in construction is an extra task or a change in the specifications.
