Mon texte concerne une agrafeuse d'imprimerie qui agrafe directement les exemplaires imprimés en sortie d'impression.
Phrase de contexte :
The position of the stitcher must be perfectly synchronised with the dies on the folding cylinder.
Je sais que "die" correspond à une matrice, un poinçon, etc. Je cherhce ici le terme exact qui décrit la pièce métallique se trouvant sur le cylindre plieur et destinée à fermer les agrafes que l'agrafeuse vient "poser" par dessus.

Context hase to be investigated. I know this business and do not see any die there (a die is used to make a shape, say round or square, out of a sheet of paper).
The writer might have meant cutter.
Cutter is not the right word, but will probably feet since neutral.
The internet link points to a list of manufaturers. Muller Martini is the biggest. Hope this helps !
