Italian term

editore radiotelevisivo

Italian to English Other Cinema, Film, TV, Drama broadcasting
OK, I'm sure this is something glaringly obvious and I'm going to look like a total twit, but I have no idea what I can call this in English.
I'm fairly certain that "radiotelevisivo" is going to be "broadcasting", but what about the "editore"?
Is it simply a broadcasting company, like the good old Beeb or are we into something more specific.
All suggestions gratefully received!
TIA
Angela

broadcasting company/Radio & TV broadcasting company

editore here has nothing to do with editing but with publishing, making public (used about books, magazines and broadcasting programs).

AER = (Italian) Association of broadcasting companies

broadcasting company

I'm not sure about the best Eng translation. The expression sure refers to a Radio/TV company but it is usually used in a hint to their capacity of controlling what and how is to be broadcast (such as a "managing editor"). Of course it depends on the nature of your text but I'd go for something like:
the broadcasting company, acting in their role of "publishers"/managing editor

HTH, me no mothertongue, normally not write in English ;-)
