Song title
I'm trying to come up with a good translation for the title of the Moody Blues song "In Your Wildest Dreams". "Salvaje" just doesn't cut it here. Any ideas?

\"Your Wildest Dreams\"
Once upon a time
Once when you were mine
I remember skies
Reflected in your eyes
I wonder where you are
I wonder if you
Think about me
Once upon a time
In your wildest dreams
Once the world was new
Our bodies felt the morning dew
That greets the brand new day
We couldn\'t tear ourselves away
I wonder if you care
I wonder if you still remember
Once upon a time
In your wildest dreams
And when the music plays
And when the words are
Touched with sorrow
When the music plays
I hear the sound
I had to follow
Once upon a time
Once beneath the stars
The universe was ours
Love was all we knew
And all I knew was you
I wonder if you know
I wonder if you think about it
Once upon a time
In your wildest dreams
And when the music plays
And when the words are
Touched with sorrow
When the music plays
And when the music plays
I hear the sound
I had to follow

I remember skies

I wonder where you are

: Absolutely Ruth, this is the best of all the suggestions, it is a very positive connotation, I love your translation here:)Also, you only, here, have the right rhythym in your poetic phrasing.

Thank you, Elizabeth! It does seem to be used differently here than the usual meaning. And I do love the Moody Blues, or the Bluedy Moos, as we affectionately used to call them.

Anabel Martínez
: But why do you need a positive connotation that is not included in the original title? Or, why do the dreams have tu be sublime just because he wants her to dream of him? Wildest doesn't have such connotations

It is your privilege to disagree, but the quoted context makes clear the answers to both your questions.

Comment: "Thanks to everyone for the unusually wide range of suggestions and the great discussion! Seldom do we see such animated debate, especially on what I thought was a simple question.
In the end, I went with Ruth's suggestion, since I feel it best conveys the mood (no pun intended) of the song. Once again, thanks to everyone!"

As Ruth says, one has to think about the lyrics to the song to come up with a title that´s appropriate. It´s almost midnight here, so I may not be very inspired. My version may actually be the same as the Spanish translation of the song title I heard on the \"Europarade\".

4.7 - The “Ask the Asker” feature's only purpose is to ask for clarifications about the question or its context. No other use of the function is permitted.
5.3 - To disagree, one must enter linguistic justification. Personal comments are strictly prohibited.
5.4 - Encouraging others to agree with your answers or disagree with answers provided by others, is prohibited.
Oso

Tal vez en tus sueños
Esta es la idea amigos. This song is pervaded with nostalgia.
y me pregunto dónde estás
o si acaso piensas en mí
aunque sea una sola vez
tal vez en tus sueños
Tal vez en tus sueños
